Faith Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church

Rev. Stanley Earl Smith is the fourth of six children born to Mrs. Lela Mae Rouse Smith and the late Mr. Leon C. Smith, Little Rock, Arkansas.  He is a graduate of Parkview High School, Little Rock, and The Southern Bible Institute of Dallas, Texas.

Rev. Smith professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 13, under the leadership of the late Rev. Abraham Woodard Sr., Pastor of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Rev. Smith recognized his Call to the Gospel Ministry on June 18, 1984 at his mother's kitchen table and delivered his first Sermon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

 Has 31 years in the United States Army.   

Rev. Smith served as associate minister at St. John Baptist Church in Grand Prairie under the late Rev. Emanuel Lupo.  In August 1990, he united with Faith Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church as a Charter member.  Rev. Smith served faithfully as an Associate Minister to Rev. Lupo, until his demise.  On January 19, 2008, Rev. Smith was elevated by a unanimous vote to become the second pastor of Faith Fellowship and was ordained on January 20, 2008.  He was installed as Pastor, Sunday, February 17, 2008.

Rev. Smith has been married to his lovely wife, DeJuan Griffin Smith, of Port Gibson, Mississippi, since November of 1989.  Mrs. Smith has been a teacher since 2001.  She was recently promoted to first grade team leader.  Rev. and Mrs. Smith have two children:  a daughter, Brittney S. Smith, and a son, Stanley E. Smith.
